Artist Vanessa Petricone
Vanessa is a well-respected professional artist born in New Jersey. Despite being self-taught, Vanessa enrolled in Caldwell University at age 17 and acquired her BFA Degree in studio art. Her work is part of the Visceglia Gallery permanent collection in Caldwell, NJ. Her work has also been displayed in the former Borders Books & Music location in Wayne, NJ. One of her original pieces is currently in the possession of a guest actor who appeared on ABCs Golden Globe winning series, Grey's Anatomy.
As an active artist, Vanessa has been receiving commissions for her art work for over 15 years and collectors of her work extend into Europe, Hollywood and Bollywood.
Former Art Instructor and degree holding artist, Vanessa has sketched at community events previously featured in local news spots.
In addition to being an accomplished artist, she has also had poetry published in Caldwell's own Calyx Literary Magazine. Not one to lose touch with the arts, Vanessa continues to paint a variety of subject matter including traditional portraits of people, animals, landscape, cityscape and original studio work and is capable of working in but is not limited to pen & ink/ stippling,
acrylic, oil, color pencil, charcoal, pastel, water color and
clay.
Ever ambitious and multi-talented, in addition to being an artist and designer, Vanessa is a lover of science and medicine. She currently holds the title of nationally registered certified medical assistant.
When not in the studio, she can be found helping patients at a private practice in NJ.
